PO Box 54841
Los Angeles, CA 90054-0841

Dear Madam/Sir:

I am writing to you at this time because of the label on your Enchilada Sauce can that directed questions to your address, and, quite frankly, I have no one else to turn to. You see, I have many question - probing questions - that only a company of your stature and Hispanic food experience could answer. The Ramirez & Feraud Chili Co. is known in numerous circles to be the pinnacle of ripened wisdom and understanding, while concurrently and consistently making a variety food related things. Knowing this, how could I go wrong?

My questions come in many forms, but I think it wise to list them here in written English. The interpretive Pygmy dance versions will have to await a society more prepared and receptive to that form of expression. My questions are as follows:

  1. What is fumaric acid in your Enchilada Sauce?
  2. Do you feel that the yellow on red sawtooth patterns, found on the top of the Enchilada Sauce cans, best conveys to the customer both the contents and the spirit of the product?
  3. What was the name of the photographer who took the pictures of the food products on your Enchilada Sauce can, and what was their thought process for the plate color selection?
  4. The weight of your product is listed in both ounces and grams. What political statements, if any, are you making?
  5. The outside of your can states simply, "Medium". What do you mean by that? Does "Medium" refer to the size of the can, the consumer's socioeconomic background, or simply a way of life or ideology?

I'm sure countless others have asked these prototypical questions before and you already have a form response on file. No matter. I did this for me. It's given me warmth and comfort just knowing that. The clarity and focus has come back into my life, with the knowledge that Las Palmas Enchilada Sauce is on the shelves around the world, guiding people, being the beacon of truth, for others like myself.

Thank you, muchas gracias and vaya con Dios.

Sincerely,

Sarir Khamsi
